His first mother toung is english because the doctors said to his family that he should speak english. He is not happy about that and wants to learn it.

I think that it is a little bit sad and if I was him I would have been very disapointed.

No i dont really understand the choise Georg’s parents made because if his mother language was the language that they speakin in his home country, then he could have comunicated with people from his country and probably his family too. And he would have learned english anyways in school and from other things.

—-

1. This poem is about a boy who wants to speak his native language, he’s unable to because his parents never taught it to him.

2. He feels angry and hurt. That’s understandable because of his situation. He’s unable to speak what he wants too.

3. I don’t. I think it’s pretty rude to remove a part of a kids culture by not teaching him his native language, especially since culture has a big part of who you turn into when you grow up.

[/et_pb_text][/et_pb_column][/et_pb_row][et_pb_row _builder_version=”4.21.0″ _module_preset=”default” max_width=”850px” module_alignment=”center” global_colors_info=”{}”][et_pb_column type=”4_4″ _builder_version=”4.21.0″ _module_preset=”default” global_colors_info=”{}”][et_pb_code _builder_version=”4.21.0″ _module_preset=”default” text_orientation=”center” global_colors_info=”{}”]<button id="backButton" style="background: #8dcfb7; border-radius: 10px; width: 100px; height: 40px; border: none; font-size: 18px;color: #000000; transform: uppercase;” onmouseover=”this.style.backgroundColor=’#5a5e5e’; this.style.color=’#ffffff’;”onmouseout=”this.style.backgroundColor=’#8dcfb7′; this.style.color=’#000000′;” onclick=”myFunction()”>Tilbake[/et_pb_code][/et_pb_column][/et_pb_row][/et_pb_section]

Examples of student responsesThe poem is about a boy called George that wants to learn the language that they speak in his home country.
